So-Called Ape Men

Published on 9 October 2023 at 21:43

Is there any evidence for the so-called “ape men” supposedly linking men with apes?

If these creatures (pre-historic fossil ape-men did indeed exist this would be powerful evidence for evolution. But as we will see in the following information, what evolutionists thought they were seeing really did not exist at all. These theories are taught by evolutionists in school books, magazines, television programs, museum exhibits, and so on.

Here is summary of the so-called “evidence” of fossil ape-men used by evolutionist to support their theories:

Piltdown Man

A piece of a jaw, two molar teeth, and a piece of skull was the evidence acclaimed by experts as that of an ape-man who was about a half million years old. For nearly 50 years Piltdown man was believed to be one of our ancestors, and about 500 books and pamphlets were written about hm

In 1950, Piltdown Man was shown to be a hoax. The jawbone turned out to be that of a modern ape. The teeth had been filed down, and the bones were artificially colored to deceive the public. The ease with which this fraud fooled the world’s greatest authorities illustrates the powerful influence of preconceived ideas among evolutionists.

Nebraska Man

The evidence was a single tooth discovered in western Nebraska. This was supposed to have come from a prehistoric man who supposedly lived one millions years ago. However, years later, when more fossils were unearthed, it was discovered that Nebraska man was only a pig’s tooth. This is a case where a pig made a monkey out of an evolutionist!

Ramapithecus

Discovered in India about 60 years ago. From a few isolated teeth and upper and lower jaw fragments, a complete creature called Ramapithacus was imagined. Some considered him to be a man-like ape. In recent years, studies have shown that Ramapithecus was not an ancestor of man at all, but essentially the same as a modern orangutan.

Neanderthal Man

Found in the Neanderthal valley in Germany. It was claimed that he lived as long as about 100,000 years ago to as recently as about 25,000 years ago. He had a skeletal structure similar to that of a modern man.

Further research has shown that one skeleton found in France over 50 years ago (which seemed to be hunched over) is that of an old man who suffered from arthritis! Anthropologists now believe that he was just as human as you and I.

Lucy- (Australopithecus afarensis)

Fossils discovered in Ethiopia by Dr. Don Johanson. One of the creatures was a female with about 40 percent of the fossilized skeleton intact which he named Lucy.  Although Johanson admits that, from the neck up, Lucy was ape (she had the jaws, teeth, face, and brain of an ape), he still maintained she walked upright just like a human. When they required a knee joint to prove that Lucy walked upright, they used one found more than 200 feet lower in the strata and more than two miles away. Lucy has now been reclassified as an extinct ape.

Conclusion: Duane Gish concluded the following from his research:

“The faith the evolutionists have in these theories makes it necessary for them to believe that a tooth, or a piece of a skull, or a jawbone, or some other fossil bone came from a creature partway between ape and man."

Point # 1- When all of the evidence is carefully and thoroughly studied by the best scientific methods, it turns out these so-called ape-men fossils end up being fossils from monkeys, apes, or people, and not from something that was part ape and part human.

Point #2- Evolutionary scientists assume that similarities of species demonstrate a common ancestor. But what makes more sense in light of the evidence, is that the similarities in species, such as man and apes, demonstrate NOT a common ANCESTOR, but a common CREATOR, or

DESIGNER.

Point # 3- Because God is the absolute authority, it means He determines what is right and wrong. However, if you believe that all humans are descendants of animals, then humans are accountable to no one, and can set their own rules.
